Finding Fractions

 Kia ora in Te Ngahere we have been doing maths. I’m in group three at maths time, we have been finding equivalent fractions.

If you don’t know what equivalent fractions are they can be doubled and mean the same as another fraction.

For example: ½  is the same as 2/4 

because they both are equal and they are the same as a half. 

OR you can add the numbers up which will make it the same. Now do you understand?

I found equivalent fractions hard because I didn’t really understand equivalent fractions at first and now I understand what equivalent fractions are.
