Exploring Explanation Writing

 Kia ora in Te Ngahere we are going to be doing some Explanation Writing.

If you don’t know what explanation writing is it’s when you are writing to explain about a topic. First you have to plan what you are going to write about.

We started planning about how pressure makes bottle rockets launch.

Before we get into that we need to explain what it sounds like.

title, identifying statement, explain sequence and summary statement.

In our planning we can’t keep putting down lots of ideas we have to keep it brief.
