SLJ Taster

Kia ora in Te Ngahere we have been doing some SLJ taster ( Summer Learning Journey).

We were doing some art and we had to get the information about what the art was and the name of the creation. The name of mine was Moon Massacre.

Have you ever done SLJ taster before?

I can’t wait to have a go at the real Summer learning Journey.

About Me

Hi I’m Warren,

I’m a year 7

student that goes

to Paihia School.

My family consists

of Tracey (mum),

Mike (dad) and

Grace (sister).

My favourite

subjects at school

are writing and maths.

I enjoy biking with

my friends and going

to the Waitangi

Mountain Bike Park.

I like to play soccer,

I play for the Paihia

Swords Under 13s.

At school I’m learning

to get better at maths

and writing.

My goal this year

is to learn all my

multiplication and

know them off by

heart. The challenge

will be to do the

hardest ones right

at the beginning

and the ones I

get wrong near

the end.

When I’m at home,

I like to build my

tree-house or play

on my I-pad. I’m

good at building

with Lego, and

building with wood.

My most favourite

thing to do is to go

for a bike ride

downtown.

The People

that inspire me

is the Wellington

Phoenix. They are

my favourite N.Z

Soccer team. They

inspire me because

I always watch them

and they have

excellent skills.

When I’m older I

want to be in the

team or go to one

of their games!
